Homestead Dreams

The weather report last night called for overnight snow about an hour north of me. It’s not at all strange to get snow in October, where I live. I remember multiple times, as a little kid, having to wear snow pants under my Halloween costume. Last year, we had a freakishly dry/warm winter where the few pathetic snowfalls melted away by the next day. I’m hoping for a good hefty snowfall this year. Winter is my favorite time of year.
